Learn how to master the art of Indian cuisine with Chef Shalu. We will prepare plant-based versions of classic dishes, explaining the use of ingredients, traditional spices and specific techniques along the way. You will gain invaluable insight into this flavourful cuisine and master the skills of cooking an authentic Indian meal from scratch.
Menu:
- Keralan Eggplant coconut curry
– A crowd favourite, this is beautifully light and fragrant curry incorporating typical flavours of India’s south-coastal region. - Creamy Vegetable No-butter Masala
– plant-based version of a typical butter masala curry. Same bold flavours and rich creamy sauce but much healthier and full of crunchy vegetables. - Spinach and potato kebabs with coriander-mint chutney
– a quintessential appetiser in Indian cuisine. Crispy green kebabs served alongside a creamy vegan chutney with fresh garnishes.All classes are fully hands-on, with the option to stay and eat or take away a tasting portion for each dish. Please bring your own containers to take away, 3 plus one jar for the chutney.
