Join this class to learn some healthy, fresh cuisine from this region – delightful Vietnamese classics with an emphasis on using fresh herbs and vegetables. These dishes are light and tasty but full of flavour, perfect for our tropical climate.
Menu:
- Fresh rice paper rolls with mango, cucumber & mint, peanut dipping sauce
– let’s make a salad in a roll! This recipe is so versatile; once you learn the technique, you can experiment with different ingredients. Served with a spicy peanut dipping sauce. - Wok-tossed Lemongrass-marinated tofu with basil and roasted peanuts
– this has always been a crowd favourite! Imagine beautifully marinated tofu seared with fresh herbs and crunchy peanuts. There are 3 ways to serve this protein-packed dish! - Banh Xeo (Vietnamese savoury crepe stuffed with crunchy veggies), nuoc cham
– Vietnam has their own version of a crepe, which is incredibly delicious. This vegan, gluten-free crepe is stuffed with veggies and served with a vegan version of the quintessential nuoc cham.All classes are fully hands-on, with the option to stay and eat or take away a tasting portion for each dish. Please bring your own containers to take away plus 2 small jars for dipping sauces.
