I have taken cooking classes wherever I can on our travels: Indonesia, Malaysia, Borneo, Thailand, Vietnam, and here in Singapore. BUT the recipes I get from Shalu are the ones I cook at home. They are simple, easy, packed with flavour, and low in fat. In the class I learn where to source the ingredients, the nutritional plusses of the ingredients, variations on the ingredients. The classes are small and the talk around the table during class is invaluable to a newbie.
