Usher in the lunar New Year with some delicious food! Join our Chinese New Year Cooking Class and learn to make authentic dishes that will bring luck, joy, and prosperity to your celebrations!

Menu:

1. Longevity Noodles
– According to Chinese tradition, the longer the noodle, the longer the life. Given this symbolism, noodles are a popular accompaniment to the celebratory meals. This recipe uses fresh veggies, herbs, mushrooms and vegan eggs, all cooked together with the noodles in a sweet, spicy and tangy vegan sauce.

2. Black pepper and five-spice tofu
– Nothing like a little fiery heat to spice up your meal! This is an incredibly fragrant and crispy tofu dish with a light drizzle of sauce that makes a perfect accompaniment to your other dishes.

3. Crispy vegetable spring rolls
– A hot, fresh, perfectly crisp spring roll is an excellent start to a celebratory feast. Lots of julienned veggies and mushrooms in these healthy pan-fried rolls served with a tangy coriander-chilli dipping sauce.

Little Green Kitchen (LGK) is a cooking studio and food consultancy - the brainchild of former lawyer Shalu Asnani to prove that vegetarian food is not boring! LGK offers creative cooking classes and tantalizing menus through their food consulting, private chef and catering services.

The self-confessed foodie’s foray into the world of professional cooking was first born in Beijing at renowned cooking school, The Hutong, where through serendipity she found herself at the helm of their various vegetarian cooking classes.
