The most popular menu I teach – this class gets filled quick! Everyone loves Thai food – it’s all about fresh flavours with aromatic ingredients, a good level of spice and fundamental tastes: sour, sweet, salty, and spicy. You will learn how to make an authentic vegan Thai meal from scratch focusing on techniques, balancing flavours and correct preparation of ingredients. Basic knowledge of cooking is recommended for this class.

Menu:

  1. Mushroom Tom Yum soup
    – classic tom yum soup with mushrooms, including making a fragrant broth from scratch
  2. Vegetable Green Curry 
    – you will make the paste from scratch with lots of authentic herbs and spices. Once you make your own curry, you will not be able to use a store-bought paste 🙂
  3. Vegetarian Pad Thai with crispy tofu
    – learn how to cook a classic pad thai, including making the sauce from scratch.

What you’ll learn:
• Craft the perfect Pad Thai from scratch
• Master a fragrant green curry paste
• Make a spicy tom yum with vegan nam prik pao
• Explore the balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy

The self-confessed foodie’s foray into the world of professional cooking was first born in Beijing at renowned cooking school, The Hutong, where through serendipity she found herself at the helm of their various vegetarian cooking classes.
