Join this class to learn some healthy, fresh cuisine from this region – delightful Vietnamese classics with an emphasis on using fresh herbs and vegetables. These dishes are light and tasty but full of flavour, perfect for our tropical climate.

Menu:

  1. Fresh rice paper rolls with mango, cucumber & mint, peanut dipping sauce
    – let’s make a salad in a roll! This recipe is so versatile; once you learn the technique, you can experiment with different ingredients. Served with a spicy peanut dipping sauce.
  2. Wok-tossed Lemongrass-marinated tofu with Thai basil and roasted peanuts
    – this has always been a crowd favourite! Imagine beautifully marinated tofu seared with fresh herbs and crunchy peanuts. There are 3 ways to serve this protein-packed dish!
  3. Banh Xeo (Vietnamese savoury crepe stuffed with crunchy veggies), nuoc cham
    – Vietnam has their own version of a crepe, which is incredibly delicious. This vegan, gluten-free crepe is stuffed with veggies and served with a vegan version of the quintessential nuoc cham.

Little Green Kitchen (LGK) is a cooking studio and food consultancy - the brainchild of former lawyer Shalu Asnani to prove that vegetarian food is not boring! LGK offers creative cooking classes and tantalizing menus through their food consulting, private chef and catering services.

The self-confessed foodie’s foray into the world of professional cooking was first born in Beijing at renowned cooking school, The Hutong, where through serendipity she found herself at the helm of their various vegetarian cooking classes.
